Trailer Tent Insurance Frequently Asked Questions - claims excess
Scroll to the bottom of the page for more questions
What amount will I have to pay as an excess if I have to make a claim?
Answer: The policy excess excludes the first £50 for any claim except public liability claims.
If the claim is the result of an accident which is not your fault. Then if your insurer is able to recover the cost of your claim from the third party or, more likely, their insurer, you will be able to request a refund of your excess from the third party insurers. This process can take a considerable period but if another insurer is involved and they accept liability then generally you will get your excess back in due course.
